For female students, hostel accommodation is mandatory for the entire duration of their course, ensuring a safe and conducive living environment. These buses are dedicated to transporting students to their respective study centers and hostels. Beyond regular transportation, the college provides transport facilities for clinical, university-related activities, and participation in various events such as sports competitions and cultural fests hosted by different colleges.

In addition to participation, the Physical Education Department of the College regularly organizes Inter-Collegiate competitions in various sports events and Inter-College Tournaments in games events, generally held in the month of January each year.

In 1994, Dr. M.V. Shetty College established the Computer Center within the college campus.
